We do not quote paver work off a satellite image or a phone description. Square footage from an aerial photo is frequently wrong, and none of the things that actually determine the job, joint condition, base movement, what kind of staining you have, are visible from above.
So we come out. It costs you nothing, there is no obligation, and you get a real number rather than a range that changes once someone sees the property.
What happens when you call
You call 941-266-5284, any hour. We take your address, ask which surfaces you want quoted, and ask about anything that affects access such as a gate, an association contractor list or limited parking. Then we set a time to come out.
You do not need to be home for us to look at a driveway, though most people prefer to be there so they can ask questions and see the sealer samples. If you are a seasonal resident or out of state, we can work with that too.
What we measure and check on site
We measure the actual square footage of every surface you want quoted. Then we look at condition. How deep is the joint sand, or is the joint effectively empty under a layer of dirt. Is the field firm or does it rock underfoot. Is the edge restraint intact. Is there settling near the apron or heave from a root.
We also identify what is actually on the surface. Algae and mildew, tannin from leaf litter, efflorescence coming out of the paver, irrigation rust coming from your water, chlorine bleaching near a pool. Those need different treatments and telling them apart is most of the diagnosis.
How long it takes and what you get
Most residential estimates are well under an hour on site. Larger commercial properties and large motor courts take longer because there is more to measure and assess.
You get a price for the work, an explanation of what is included, and a straight answer about anything we found that concerns us. If your pavers need base work before sealing makes sense, we will say so. If they are too new to seal because efflorescence is still active, we will tell you when to call back. Neither of those answers gets us paid today and both of them are the right thing to tell you.
Sealer samples and the finish decision
We bring samples so you can see the difference between a wet look and a natural matte finish on your own pavers rather than in a photograph. Photographs do not represent it accurately and the choice is genuinely consequential.
A wet look brings color up hard and shows every repair, every replaced paver and every dye lot difference. A natural finish hides variation and reads more like stone. On an older driveway where pavers have been swapped over the years, matte usually looks better. On a uniform newer field, wet look can be worth it. We will show you both and let you decide.

Do I need to be home?
Not necessarily, particularly for a driveway. Most people choose to be there so they can see the sealer samples and ask questions, but if you are seasonal or out of state we can work around it. For gated properties or backyard lanais we do need arranged access.
Can you give me a price over the phone?
We can give you a general sense, but not a real quote. Square footage from an aerial image is frequently wrong, and joint condition, base movement and the type of staining you have are the things that actually drive the price. Those need to be seen. That is why the on site visit is free.
How soon can you come out?
